We aRe:
A part-time preschool program for children ages 2-5 years old. ECC opened its doors in 1978 as a ministry of Red Bridge United Methodist Church. Over the last 40 years, our partnership with Red Bridge UMC has grown. Because of this relationship, we are able to provide students with a high quality preschool experience where children can learn in a safe and loving environment. Our philosophy is to promote each child’s God given potential for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth.
Each classroom is staffed with a lead teacher and an aide in accordance with the Safe Gatherings policy of the United Methodist Church. In addition to Safe Gathering training, we also conduct background checks on all of our teachers. Every teacher is certified in CPR and First Aid and participates in 6 hours of training around a variety of topics such as child development, classroom management, music, art, movement, etc. We are blessed to have an amazing staff of teachers who are at ECC because they love children and are good at what they do.
“I chose Red Bridge ECC initially because of the schedule and flexibility with days. I wasn’t ready to send my 2-year-old son anywhere for long stretches or even several days per week. I didn’t need child care, so to speak, but I desperately wanted to give my very social boy a safe setting in which to socialize and learn among peers, while giving me time to focus on my newborn daughter. The shorter days gave us all the time we needed without being too demanding on my son.
We instantly fell in love with the community. The teachers are dedicated and well-supported, so they always seem happy to be there. The communication between parents and staff is phenomenal, and made me feel at ease when he may have had an “off” day. Though it was hard to share my son’s time with other people, he absolutely thrived and I could tell that he was in the best place, with people who truly love children and understand them.

School Hours
Hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday-Friday, with optional extended days until 3:00 PM.
Our school year starts in September and ends in May.
