We thought it would be fun to foster community through our parent and child class playdates. During the week of September 19, we scheduled two classes to be on the playground at 9:00am or at 12:30pm. Parents were invited to join in the fun and to meet some other families in their child’s classroom. We also wanted to showcase the new rubber mulch we had installed on the playground this summer. We had a wonderful time and it was great for parents to spend time getting to know each other, the teachers and the children in the classroom. This is always a great way to start our school year.
